App keeps crashing when I look at live video.
  • No sound notifications

I don’t like the idea that my notifications is not related to a sound notification. I have to be looking at my phone to see when notifications are being sent. My schedule is too active to watch my phone for notifications, I am so ready to return to the ring app. I received sound notifications while away from home. Much better for a person like myself with a busy schedule.

actually the worst app i’ve ever used i’ve had my mini nest connected for years with no problem it randomly disconnected and now the app can’t find it even when im literally less than a foot away. for a multi BILLION dollar corporation you’d think you’d actually make an attempt to make your products and services useable. never buying a google product again and would highly discourage others from doing the same

Google has given up on Home products and quality. Latest version shows cameras/home assistants offline even though nothing has changed physically in my house. Reset the doorbell just to find now I can’t even set it up again - constantly hangs on WiFi connection not working even though every other device works in my house? Come on Google you have ruined your home experience for customers
  • The worst UI

This app gets updated frequently if only to make it seem like they’re doing something to it. It’s crashes randomly, scrubbing through videos is tedious at best and half the time the pinch to zoom freezes the app.
  • Changed ISP, Royal Pain to Reconnect Nest Thermostat

It is less complicated to replace the internal combustion engine of my 1998 Buick than to fix the connection of our Nest thermostat after installing a different internet service provider. The instructions are insanely complicated! Get a clue, Google. We lost our Roomba 3 years ago, just because of their idiotic complications. No one to help, either.
  • Missing notification preview

The app has been good. But recently (maybe 1 week or 2) it started missing the Notification Preview from Nest Camera Notifications. This seems to happen to all Nest cameras that were migrated to Google. Google cameras still work ok. So when I long-press on a camera notification, it opens up, but it’s just blank. The preview video is is missing.

Google home was the best before the Gemini update. My entire household is bilingual and since the update we haven’t been able to utilize our home nests and hubs in our own language as we used to. It doesn’t understand commands and it won’t respond back in our preferred language. I wish Google would’ve had this in mind before making the update until the multilingual feature was ready or at least let users go back to the original settings until another update was ready. My dreamed smart home is not longer functional in my preferred language thanks to Google. It might not be a big deal for others, but in the world that we live in we are scared to speak other language other than English in public because we are scare we will become the bullying target for a resist person. We can only speak our native language at home, and Google didn’t care about that. If you can’t relate to the problem then is not a problem, right? Got it! Thank you Google. :(
