Description

Grab your prospecting gear for a jaw-droppingly beautiful journey along Colorado’s Million Dollar Highway, where miners, mayors, and railroad tycoons converged during the wild days of Colorado’s gold rush! Million Dollar Highway: Take a trip into the wild west with this self-guided driving tour! The Million Dollar Highway offers a glimpse into the tumultuous times of Colorado’s gold rush, not to mention some simply astonishing views of the Great American West. Witness the harsh majesty of the San Juan mountain range as you drive this picturesque stretch of highway. But you won’t just be admiring the mountains—you’ll learn how they formed and how to find some of their hidden treasures, including a 200-foot waterfall! The gold might be long gone, but there’s still plenty of secrets to uncover here. This tour will even take you to little-known landmarks like the bridge Paul Newman famously leapt from in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid! Plus, you’ll dig into the area’s rough and tumble history, from railroad tycoons to lawless mining towns that went from Boom to Bust in the blink of an eye, leaving eerie ghost towns behind. All that at staggering heights of 11,000 feet above sea level! So saddle up your horses, grab your prospecting gear, and get ready to hit the motherlode! Very disappointed in the way the app worked. I’ve used GyPSy Guide in the past on multiple tours and expected similar experiences. It was not. It was very disappointing. It did not pickup at gps points, we were driving the speed limit and it would just cut off mid story. You had to restart the app each time you started again…from the very beginning😬. Was not pleased at all.

Andre was very accommodating. Moved our Rez an hour early and let us keep our bikes til closing. The Self guided map he provided was so easy to follow. Bikes were in great condition.
