  • The new update is not user friendly

The app has recently had an update which allows one to customise the home screen. I don’t like the new update. There’s too much too it. Its frustrating having to go into categories to view data that actually really doesn't need to be categorised. I much preferred one screen with everything on it that you could just scroll down and see it all. I really wish they could have kept the old style of home screen.
  • Most Recent Update is Lame

Garmin allowed for trying out the update during its Beta phase and I tried it as someone who was curious to see what was coming. I used it for a week or two before getting tired of it and switching back to the “good” format. Now the update has forced the lame format on everyone. Even the web platform has updated to a similar style, which I find less effective than its previous version. It would be nice to allow for a customization to go back to how the app was. I liked seeing my activities as large banned at the top of the app. I feel like I need to tap through more windows/widgets to find what I am looking for. I liked how much data was given to me before. Now I feel like it is watered down. As someone who runs or exercises 5-6 times a week I feel like the presentation of the data took a step backward. I think there is room for improvement on how users can interact with the data.

This new layout/update makes me not want to use app. Not sure why you ruined something that was amazing and easy to use. This will make people look towards other watches if you keep this up.
  • Apps new UI is garbage

The app has always been more or less functional. Not great, no terrible. Then Garmin decided to change the UI. The will probably be the final straw for me that causes me to get an Apple Watch.

New UI is so bad. Complete step backwards. Also won’t load in anything besides heart rate. Inefficient design and many technical issues. Revert back or give me the option to use the old UI. Might be finally time to get an Apple Watch.

Please revert back to the prior version of Garmin connect. It was much simpler and easier to view. There should not be a need to scroll this much to view my data. I’ve been loyal to Garmin however I’ll will consider other watch companies when I’m due for an upgrade

April fools was almost a month ago! What is this garbage? Just allow us to use the old Home Screen and opt out of whatever nightmare this current trash is.

the need for scrolling to see basic data is so unnecessary and annoying. The old home page was much cleaner and better
