Paid for this and still forced to watch 30 second ads everytime I play a word. Awful.

I paid for an ad free game and have played it with pleasure for years. Now all of a sudden I get ads. Why? Did the developer get money hungry and want more money. This is a disgrace. Give us back our ad free game we paid for. I don’t want to watch ads anymore now than I did years ago. That is why I paid for an ad free version. If you want to have ads, do so for the new users and leave the loyal users who paid for ad free alone. If this is not changed back to ad free, I will be deleting the ap. I guess the developer would rather have money than satisfied users.

A number of Open games disappeared and the game stopped showing the column of THEIR MOVE. Help!!! They all said I TIMED OUT. I did not time out as I play all the time.

I was forced out of the Words with Friends Original to download the WWF2. I lost all the people I played for at least 8-9 years. I’m on WWF2 now and hate it because my FRIENDS ARE GONE. This isn’t the same for me at all.

One of the appeals of this game is moving up to another level. However, the app doesn’t track data accurately. I was supposed to receive 30 points when I reached 900 wins. However, I have been at 896 wins for two weeks now, despite having won a dozen games in that time. This, plus the incessant ads that freeze and make the app crash, make the game almost unplayable.

For the past week or so, seems very glitchy

For over 10 days now I have been notified about the achievements I’ve earned. Guess what!? I’m not being awarded them. Someone might want to do a little maintenance on WWF Classic.

Unusable with all the ads

I have reached frustration point with this game. Just played, and computer used the word « Etnas » which they defined as « A volcano in Italy. » The word « A » signifies One, and there are no plural volcanoes with this name in Italy. Plus, it is a proper noun, the use of which computer denies to players. Computer uses Spanish or French words, such as rio or je, but when I put in a foreign word, computer rejected it. Computer, up until recently, rejected the word « Zen » but now accepts it. Not appropriate ! Often times, the computer game is described as « easy » but uses words I have never heard of, such as arcane flora or fauna from Africa or Australia or archaic money from Asian countries. And that is supposed to be the EASY game? I have a Master’s Degree in French and taught high school French, Spanish and English for thirty-eight years, so I am not vocabulary - challenged. The developers need to do some serious work improving the solo challenges making them fairer. The rules should be the same for players and the computer. If a word is allowed for the computer, it should be allowed for players. You either include proper nouns or you don’t. The same for foreign words. ( Neither of which are accepted in Scrabble.)The easy challenges should not include such things as archaic spellings of Scottish language or weird plants from Asia. Those belong only in the more difficult challenges.
