    It’s pretty frustrating when the app says it’s going to rain at 50° and it’s snowing 30… They are hardly ever accurate and I’m now deleting it. I’ve had it for a long time and every time I check it it’s wrong so there’s just no use in having it

  • Crappy Weather Forecast

    On several occasions in the past few weeks this app predicts zero percentage of rain. I get up in the morning and double check to see if it’s going to rain. NO RAIN IN FORECAST. I start doing work outside, like painting, and it starts to rain. This is four hours after a no rain prediction. And these people think I would pay for premium crappy forecasts.

    This was my go to weather app. I preferred the interface and graphics compared to the Apple Weather app, but this new version appears as if the Weather Channel tried to steal the look and feel of the Apple Weather app, but it’s executed more poorly. It’s a complete downgrade from the previous version that was great for years. This version does not display clear and concise data in a easily readable format. The icons aren’t easily distinguishable enough from one another to quickly determine hourly/daily weather changes. I understand that apps need upgrades so they appear “modern looking”, but this new aesthetic comes at the cost of functionality. It’s as if they don’t understand user-centered design principles. Unfortunately, this is a complete failure in my opinion and I’ll be looking for a new weather app that understands the user.

    App, without subscription, won’t work due to all the adds displayed. Payed for the subscription (for use on iPad and iPhone) and now the “upgrade” only displays in landscape mode on my iPad. This is completely ridiculous!!! What brainiac decided to do this? Add a bunch of options for alerts and take away portrait mode??? Not helpful for people with arthritis to try and hold the iPad in landscape mode. This really needs to be fixed!! Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!

    The daily and hourly weather views show up to 11am then go to 12am, 1am, etc. What happened to afternoon? The weather channel is always the most accurate but if it’s not going to show me half the day I have to use something else.

    Had to change to the iPad app for some reason. Only works in landscape mode which I don’t like. Also don’t like the layout. Switching to a different app.

    We used to rely on with the channel for travel to and from work in the middle of the night all the time, it was simple and straightforward and you could see exactly exactly what you needed right away. You may have made it more trendy and more hip, but it’s not great to try and navigate around. but this new update is the worst. It’s so busy and so tiny and you can’t zoom in to read anything. And now there’s soooooo much on there it takes an age to find anything. Will be deleting hey, searching for something much more simple, and straightforward when you live in the information instantaneously.

    Accessed the app this morning and discovered that there have been major changes to the layout. This is worse than the previous change, and more ads than before. Deleted the app and will use something different.
