This was our first time to Mexico, the check in was a little hectic, the gal who checked us in was very pleasant. Our room was a little dated and underwhelming but very clean and do able, Andrea in housekeeping was amazing! The grounds are beautiful, clean and easy to navigate. The pools were clean and clear! The beach by far was one of our favorites, lots of chairs and shade for all! The beach was kept up much better than others we walked past! Margarito at the adult pool was also amazing! Great personality, easy to have a conversation with, and made great drinks! Worth the walk from the other side of the hotel to get a drink from him! Other bars had pretty good drinks as well! All the staff was very friendly. Diego at the lobby bar is friendly and makes a wonderful chocolate martini 😊 We had an issue getting reservations for all the restaurants. They were all full until the end of the week! This was a bummer due to the fact that the buffet food was not our favorite! The meals at the restaurants were very good and servers were amazing! The buffet food was a little hit or miss, the staff was very pleasant. The guys bussing the tables on both upper decks were wonderful! The omelette chef was amazing and pleasant every time! The entertainment was good, we never saw a repeat show. We really liked the new evolution show. Very talented dancers and crew! All the day activities were a huge highlight of this resort. From painting, to bingo, to dance lessons, and pool parties there was always something we could be doing! Having a little shopping area within walking distance from the resort was a huge plus! We rode the bikes the hotel provided. Was a nice amenity but was a little hard to find bikes that were operable for our larger group of 8! Overall, we were very pleased with our stay, and we would return. Thank you, until next time.
  • First night and I wish I could leave

This has been a terrible experience and I have only been here a few hours. I frequent all inclusives and have never had this experience. I also am not hard to please. The resort is nice and well kept. The staff are terrible. We were second in line to check in after an extremely long day of traveling. We were not given an option on room type but since we got here near check in time I did not think there would be a problem. We stood in line for 20 minutes while the one person checked in the person before us. They had two guys working on the VIP guests. The guy told me to hold on after the person in front of me was done. As I waited, he then started helping other people who were able to just walk up to the desk and cut in front of everyone. I requested a first floor room with a king bed. He said let me see and proceeded to check us in. No one took our bags or offered. There was no bell hop. I just had back surgery so this was painful but fine. We find our room and it’s on the second floor with two queens. I called the front desk and was in the middle of talking to someone and got transferred. I have to meet the manager downstairs tomorrow to get our room switched. Which I understand they are full. We have not ate since 4:00 am. The only place open was a snack bar. Everything was empty except for some fries, chips, and pico. We were told we did not need a mask. We walked around and waited for the buffet to open. Walked there and was told we need a mask. I said I can’t walk all the way back. She said we could go to reception desk. There is a decent size line waiting to be checked in with no one there to help them. I waited for a few and finally just asked another worker sitting down if he could get me a mask. He said they are at the front desk. I was in disbelief. I am extremely unhappy with the terrible service here and will be asking for a refund to go go somewhere else. I pray I do not have to be treated like a burden for a week.

If you are looking for an all inclusive hotel with good food don’t come here as you will just be disappointed. Check in is horrible they have to use a better system so people doesn’t need to wait for more than an hr just to check in. Drinks are pretty ok. Staff are pretty nice except to the lady who’s making reservations for restaurants. No customer service skills at all. She’s not very welcoming and helpful.

25 year anniversary celebration became a disaster from the time we registered in the US on Windham‘s website we booked for two people upon arrival they could not confirm it so we had to pay additional funds once arrived like we had really a choice when we had two people there Horrible and disappointing to say the least Hope a manager or owner would call and fix this nightmare We are here until 17th of August SMH It’s not resort manager fault it’s corporate So sad
