Description

Comprehensive preparation, study and test tool for the Remote Pilot Initial (Unmanned Aircraft General - Small) FAA Knowledge Exam. Questions, answers and explanations included, for you to study with a true-to-form practice test. Operating a drone for non-hobby operations requires a Remote Pilot Certificate. Applicants must successfully complete the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Knowledge Exam to earn the Remote Pilot Certificate with a Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) rating. This app is the key to test success. Rely on the time-tested and dependable ASA Prepware apps to prepare for your FAA Knowledge Exam. Test material is expertly organized into chapters based on subject matter and includes instructional text and illustrations, multiple-choice questions, answer stems, correct answers, explanations (for correct and incorrect answers), and references for further study. This topical study promotes understanding and aids recall to provide an efficient study guide. Subjects covered include Regulations, National Airspace System, Weather, Loading and Performance, and Operations. This app will be particularly helpful for drone operators interested in earning a Remote Pilot certificate, Remote Pilot Aircraft (RPA) applicants, Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) training programs preparing applicants for FAA Knowledge exams, self-study applicants interested in learning more about commercial unmanned aircraft operations, and existing (manned aircraft) pilots interested in learning more about drone and unmanned aircraft operations who are sharing the National Airspace System. ASA’s Prepware Remote Pilot app is the best resource for successful test-taking and safe small UAS operations.

Used this til I was scoring in the mid-90s and then scored a 92 on the actual exam. Totally worth the price!

It has been awhile since I have passed my Part 107. I did a lot of studying - watched videos, read articles but this app and using it diligently was the best way to prep for the test. I got a 94%. It isn’t the sexiest or the fanciest study app but the content is there.

Maybe 7 of these questions were on the actual exam. Would rather buy the book

Ended up with 88% on my test. The questions are very similar but you will see some new ones. They pull from a pool of a thousand questions so it’s kind of expected.

Took the FAA part 107 test today and passed, but not thanks to this app. I read a private pilot book front to back and watched several YouTube videos on sectional charts. Not a single question from this app review was on the actual part 107. Don’t waste your money.
  • Problem #1141

Test Question 1141 asks which of the possible answers is NOT a concern in a certain flight scenario. While grading the test it shows the correct answer to be a choice that WOULD BE a concern. It even goes on to explain why the choice IS a concern. Again, the assignment was to choose the answer that is NOT a concern. While the explanation was absolutely correct, the choice for a correct answer to the question was not. There are a handful of questions I’ve noticed over the course of my last 8 practice tests that are impossible to grade correctly. This being the most recent. I think this app is a great tool otherwise. I’ve consistently scored 90-95% but scoring 100 proves challenging when these problems exist.
  • Great App-Similar to test!

Used this app. Went through all the study questions then took the test in this app 5 times, trying to score in the 80s and 90s on all of them. Took the FAA test this morning and passed with 86%. This app did a great job of prepping me for the test!

I cant find an email or anything. Suddenly this trusty app isnt showing me just remote pilot questions but also i think actual pilot exam questions? It now has questions related to TSA, what runway signs mean what, etc. Please fix this!!!! I loved this app before this glitch.

Using past Prepware Applications, I’ve had some pretty good results. One of the biggest benefits has been to be able to pick a topic and practice on a few questions chose randomly. The problem with particular app, however, is that it will not let you reduce the number of questions. This means that instead of a bite-size practice of five or 10 questions now and then, you would have to have a 96 question quiz on only one topic. Had I known that, I probably would have tried a different app other than this one. Also, there are no flashcards or study materials. but the biggest problem is that you either have to take a full simulated test, or a one topic test including all of the questions in the bank for that topic.
