    Been a Day One User since pretty much the beginning....It's getting to the point now that I can't control the experience so it's not very useful for me. Example...I post from the Mobile app and when I view from the desktop app it pulls ALL of my photos into that days postings. Can't get any help in contact us, instructions in the Help section are not helpful / accurate. Looking for an option that will be more customizable. I'm sad to leave after so long.

    havent changed a thing for like a decade. It also confuses me exactly what the purpose of this is. I have note taking apps that actually let you be a human and dont force you into this weird linear thought pattern. Theres no real intrinsic poiint to this

  • An excellent journal

    I really like Day One, so much so that I got the subscription so that I could add as much media as I want to a particular entry. I really like how it can give me daily prompts, reminding me to write. Further, the feature that shows me how many posts that I did the year before is fantastic. It allows me to have a look back and see what/how I was thinking a year or more back. Fantastic.

    somebody help me! I just lost access to my 10 years of Journal. I c\ange devices and I'm told that the app cant open with my updated OS.

  • Sync giving errors

    Out of nowhere, I now have "Your login has expired. Please sign in again." Which doesn't go away no matter how many times I logout and login. Also, "There was an error retrieving your encryption key." A sync error. Never had it before, no idea how to solve, and nothing about my setup has changed. My journals are NOT encrypted, btw. I'd write to them, but apparently there's no way for a non-premium member to do so. I bought this before the subscription plans took over.

    I have been using Day One, since their Day One! It is a GREAT journal -- I like that I can add pictures and other info about the location, etc. I also like that you can tag the entries and search them. I have found that this gives me insights on what I am repeating, what is good and what I could adjust to make my life that much better. I also like that you can keep multiple journals - I keep a General Journal, and several topic specific journals. Great product & highly recommended.

    I have 16 journals, including one that includes pictures of all my identification and ccards, prescriptions, as well as forays into areas of interest, a personal journal, and my gym workouts. I can add and delete these journals as needed. Been using it for years. Thank you, Day One!

    I think I've had this app for 2 years. It's worth every penny. It's just easy to use. I don't need a lot of bells and whistles, just a space for my thoughts.

    I love this app. It knows its way from iPad to my Mac and back again. It has so many useful tools within. If you think journals are indulgent, you're wrong: especially if you use DayOne. I've written about my life for more than 40 years, but this app is the best thing I've ever touched to make my journals do their best for me.
