Poems with Purpose: Mutt-i-grees Ambassadors Spark Change Through Verse

Our Mutt-i-grees Ambassadors are ever exploring caller and evolving projects. This year, the enthusiastic teens from Locust Valley Public Library person taken connected a scope of initiatives to rise consciousness astir the value of carnal rescue and adoption—including participating successful the library’s first-ever poesy penning program!

Their last task of the year, titled ‘Empathy for Animals,’ was led by Head of Youth Services and Ambassador Sponsor Leslie Armstrong, on with the library’s Poet-in-Residence, Patti Tana.
