    Update to the update- got a response to my review with recommendations to improve performance. I’m, yeah, go re/index those albums, okay? If you want to know nothing, let developers (who are not users) respond to issues. Hilarious. 2026 update - Nix decided unlimited storage was now a paid option rather than grandfathering in those who bought thinking that’s what we would have. It still doesn’t shuffle through all photos regardless of how many times I change settings hoping to see a reset. Be prepared for that disappointment. Rather than fixing that their developers tweak features like his to add captions to make it look updated. I’m wondering if an iPad slideshow for my Google Photos might not be a better option. If you are getting for grandma and will be sending photos probably nice. Customer service is hard to reach and find resolutions. My frame won’t let me add captions until after uploading photos. Many chats and screenshots later, I was still getting the “cut & paste” responses from them. I have tried every which way to get photos to “play all” but it really just plays the most recent of my 4,000 photos. You have to just go select different playlists manually and change periodically as it doesn’t really shuffle your collection well. Maybe I have a defective frame? Who knows but I’ve learned to just do my own work arounds rather than rely on Support. Overall, great quality photo display.

    After deleting pics to free space, the app still won’t load dif pics and wants to sell a subscription! Grrr!! No I don’t want a subscription, I just want a working app I paid for!!

    I have switched tried everything to get this to work. Very frequent inability to upload. Worked great on Android but completely broken on iOS. Will be canceling my subscription. The suggested solutions don’t work.

    I was getting a "File too large" message every time I tried to upload an image recently. I had numerous email exchanges with Maris at Nixplay and they were extremely patient and helpful until I learned what worked for me on my Mac. Now I'm hopeful that it won't be a problem for me in the future. Thank you Maris!

    I bought my frames because of free unlimited storage then after 5 years you changed the terms and locked many of my photos , holding them until I pay a subscription now . This is a dirty stunt to pull and you should do the right thing and grandfather everyone in before you changed your policy .

    Our family purchased a frame for my in-laws many years ago and it’s always been great. We live out of state but can still send new pictures to their frame. They have 7 grandchildren and enjoy seeing all of them while drinking their morning coffee and reading the paper. For the past year I get failure to upload/storage full messages and have to delete and reload the app. Hope you get this fixed soon or I’m going to stop trying.

    Company sold the frames promising unlimited storage on the frame. Switched to a pay model that even removed photos already added to the frame or were stored on the cloud. DO NOT BUY. Update- costumer service was contacted about the sync issue suggested and again told I needed to subscribe.

    I have an older digital picture frame that was still linked to my late wife's work account. I wasn't sure there was any way to recover it, but I reached out to support and was truly impressed by the experience. Maris responded promptly and walked me through the entire process of unpairing the frame from the old account and setting it up with my new one. Thanks to her help, the frame is back to full working order. I was fully prepared to throw it away, but now I'll get many more years out of it — and more importantly, the memories that go along with it. If you're on the fence about reaching out to support, don't hesitate. The team genuinely cares and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend.
