    I am now on my 5th virtual machine, its so flaky. First time HA wouldnt install. Second time it worked, but when I had to restart HA it refused to restart. Third time all OK but an add on I previously installed without issue no longer worked. 4th time it would not restart. Now on 5th, scared to touch it... Pretty disappointed.

  • Badly needs USB passthrough

    This is such a great idea and seems promising but it's in dire need of the ability to pass through USB devices. I have a Bluetooth dongle and a Zigbee dongle that I need to be able to access in order to use this as a viable replacement for a virtual machine. And I imagine that's a pretty common setup for most HA users.

    This is pretty easy to setup a server to run home assisant. However, there is no support for SSL or https. This is not very useful to integrate multiple devices, especially through google home/assisant. Had to request a refund from apple.

    Far and away the easiet way to run HA as a native feeling server/app on your Mac. Its fast, stable, and smooth without having to mess around with Docker, Virtualization software, or another piece of hardware liike a Raspberry Pi. My only "complaint" is that I'm having trouble accessing a usb HD for external data storage from this HA set up. I'm hoping the developer can provide some guidance for this. If that can be sorted out, then its an easy 5 star rating hands down. Thanks Kenneth Kao!
