    Delayed flights. Arriving at connecting gate after running through the terminal waving frantically at the agent to only have them look at you then close the gate. Spending 2 hours on the phone trying to rebook. No offer of compensation. Bags showing at baggage claim so take another hour trying to retrieve them only to have a United agent laugh and say no your babe are not here we don’t know why it shows that we’re working on it. Everyone has problems how you deal with the problems separates you from others. So far United hasn’t done much in customer service.

    United fails to adequately alert its customers of plane departures and delays. As an example, United has continuously delayed the boarding time of a flight since 6:51pm up to 9pm. It is understandable that flights get delayed, it is unacceptable that flights continually get delayed 5min after the adjusted boarding time. If the a flight is delayed the airline should know and publish it at least at the time of boarding if not before the boarding time. This issue is compounded when United continually delays for reasons that they bear responsibility for (i.e. “missing crew”). Commit to a delay, be proactive about communicating (not reactive), adequately staff your company.

  • Saves Cards Never Work

    It’s incredibly frustrating that every time I get on a plane, the attendant comes around and says I do not have a card on file when I have three inputted into the app. This is happened on at least five flights in the attendant swear it never happens but I’ve talked to others I’ve flown with, and it happens to them as well on every flight. Ridiculous. Yes i know about the QR codes, they work if you can get them to load. Which is not often. They went cashless/cardless before knowing what they were doing.
