I downloaded this because I was looking for a FREE photo editing app. In fact, I searched for a “free photo editing app” and this was the first app that was listed. I immediately discovered that one cannot DO ANYTHING AT ALL WHATSOEVER WITHOUT BUYING IT. How awful does a company have to be?

    Multiple endless possibilities.
  • Garbage customer service, pray you never need them

Customer service has absolutely no interest in actually providing assistance. If you ask for help with basic topics you will be hung up on repeatedly by numerous agents. If you actually do get somebody to talk to you, they will focus in on one little keyword that is completely irrelevant to the situation and never ever actually help you with the problem. been a premium member for years, using Adobe product since the 90s, this is the end for me.

This app does most of the things I would expect it to and for free what can you say. I would get the Photoshop CC if it weren’t for the monthly price
  • Some good features, but horrible pricing

Can’t recommend Adobe products anymore; they nickel and dime you for everything.

I love this app, it’s creative and available and understandable to the non savvy people when it comes to editing anything
  • Unfortunate Business Model Changes

It would be difficult to fully express my disappointment in the recent updates to Photoshop Express, but I’ll lay out my main grievances: First and foremost, the inability to save edited images at highest quality in the free version flies in the face of Photoshop’s purpose, which is to enhance and improve photographs. This coercive tactic to force people to subscribe or lose quality essentially reduces the free PE app to a toy — every edit becomes a destructive edit, every output a degraded one. Second, the paywalling of basic tools makes the app little better than the built-in photo editor that came with my iPhone. Useful daily functions like separating subject from background are now gated behind a subscription. What’s left is maddeningly basic. I once considered Express a useful tool to enhance my photos on the fly, but the recent changes to subscriber-only features downgrades its usefulness significantly. I already have the full desktop version of Photoshop, I’ll return to using that to edit my work — like I did back in 2015 — rather than use this new, regressive version of the app for any image editing I’m serious about. Edit: as you can see below, the developer response is blasé and pro forma. It’s clear they did not hear me. I don’t need to send them examples, they have the app too. I stated my points above clearly, and clearly indicated what I’ll be doing as a consumer. To spell it out — again — I’ll be using the desktop version of Photoshop for any serious work, just like I used to do in 2015.
