I have been using LinkedIn on my IPhone 7 for years but just a few days ago it won’t allow access without an upgrade to an IPhone vs 16.1 uograde. However only 15.8 vs ia available for IPhone 7. LinkedIn is of no use for me now due to their new requirement. Very sad for me!

The app sucks, website sucks, wants to verify a bunch of stuff like Fort Knox. Freezes all the time and it just goes in circles. Extremely frustrating
  • Best for Active Network Builders

LinkedIn offers real value for professionals looking to grow their network and visibility. The platform hosts meaningful industry conversations and can be powerful for those who use it consistently. As a more occasional user, though, I’ve found the interface less intuitive than I’d hoped. Many of the features that make networking most effective appear to be behind a paid membership, which can make the free version feel limited. Overall, it’s a strong platform with clear potential — especially for frequent users — but the accessibility and user experience could be improved for those engaging more selectively.

7,443 resumes later not one call, email, or letter this is a waste of time a void and now if you buy premium you can pay someone and throw your resume away into nothing, nowhere. does a human even read theses also they don’t even hide the fact they sell your information blatantly.

I have been having issues logging on, and cannot contact anyone, only way to talk with them is after you log in. Worst
  • Old resumes don’t help

Keeping old resumes tied to my profile doesn’t help even after I delete them and upload a new one!!!!! Especially when applying for jobs in the job market, I automatically get denied because an old resume is still on your app that makes me look unprofessional when it’s a couple years old and that’s what recruiter see and when applying to jobs randomly whatever your system decides to send even when there’s a current new resume uploaded to it. You’re too worried about making extra money on DATA harvesting when it makes the app pointless to use.
  • Can’t use the app anymore.

LinkedIn has “upgraded” to a bougie version that is not compatible on my phone. Goodbye LinkedIn.

For all of my current needs… except for LinkedIn now… I am just fine with the iPad running an older operating system and the apps that worked just fine up to this time. However, LinkedIn, the app just stopped working. I was given the option to update or to continue using the app that had worked just fine. Now, Update is the only option. But, as I grudgingly did go to do so… I found that I could not update the app on my older iPad. So… I guess I will have to just use the website instead of the app. I doubt that this was what the developers intended. It’s not a great customer experience, though, I must say.

I love LinkedIn ! Has helped connect me with so many people . I have an iPhone 8 and can’t upgrade the IOS to the latest because of how old the phone is . Since there are app updates, I get that notification to download the latest version and i can’t click out of it . Which means I can’t use the app . Any way to take that off ?
