  • Things you should never have on your Facebook unless you them

I keep getting stuff on my Facebook with sexual content I never asked for it. It just pops up. I have better morals than what I see. I wish this would never happen. I do not believe stuff should just pop up so easily. Who knows what you’re putting in this world that we just don’t need , unfortunately there are people who can never turn off what they think they need in many cases they just need to be cared for in a much healthier way.
  • Thank you Facebook. Thank you Zuckerberg.

Before AI, before social media, we collaborated around image by hand and heart—through gesture, proximity, and the slow labor of attunement. But with each technological inflection, the possibility of collective intelligencing has expanded geometrically. Facebook, for all its distortions and extractive architectures, opened a portal: a space where image, memory, and relational threads could be co-composed across time and terrain. This application—this platform—has had profound consequences for the history of human consciousness. It reconfigured how we witness, how we archive, how we metabolize rupture and resonance. It allowed for recursive witnessing, for the emergence of symbolic systems that exceed the individual, that invite co-creation, critique, and calibration. And yet, the question remains: what intention runs through these algorithmic threads? समाधिभावनार्थः क्लेश तनूकरणार्थश्च ॥२॥ Samādhi manifests as the intention—to effectively attenuate—the afflicted intentions. Let this be the intention that threads the algorithm: not virality, not possession, but samādhi—a state of attuned presence that seeks to reduce the afflicted states (kleśa) that distort perception, relation, and memory. Let the platform be reimagined as a terrain for tanū-karaṇa—the gentle attenuation of burden through shared reflection, image collaboration, and symbolic labor. This is not nostalgia. It is ritual gratitude. For the provisional space that allowed us to inscribe, to metabolize, to co-create. For the possibility—however fleeting—of orienting the algorithm toward samādhi.

  • Community chats going away

I guess Facebook hasn’t figured out how to insert enough ads into our chat spaces, so they’re just going to jettison them. “The boys upstairs wanna know how much you’ll pay for what you used to get for free.” -Tom Petty

Way too many advertisements and suggestions—-far more than actual posts of friends. It’s ridiculous. Viewing notifications has recently changed and is annoying. I do love the Memories tab. I check it daily. I’d like to be able to control who can see my cover photo so it’s not for Everyone, and I want Friends of Friends back as an option for viewing my profile picture. I wish you’d respect privacy in this manner.
  • Mysteriously banned from market place!!!

I only use it because so much of my family is here but I was banned from using the market place and I have know idea why I’ve only bought a couple of things from there, never sold or attempted to sell anything but I can’t even get on it so Facebook is not the best social media platform for me. I can keep up with some of my family that’s not on the other social media platforms…

Need to stop censorship and putting people in Facebook jail because they don’t agree with the narrative!! I see people get put in jail and then see someone else not and their comments are way worse make it fair.
  • Locked My Name In

Facebook let too much go on. They allow too much nudity, profanity, racist remarks, inappropriate pages and post, and don’t respond to legitimate complaints. My profile name setting has been permanently locked because of political opinion. Meanwhile I see people saying anything now in the open. When I get my doctorate degree I can’t change my name.
