Thank you to the creators of this app, it is exactly what we all needed. The best way to check status of major fires and monitor all those tiny little fires that seem to pop up everywhere in dry years.

  • Let Users Change The Alert Sound/tone and Volume

This is a really good app but I have one major issue with it. The notification/alert tone is too quiet and you can’t change it. My family lives in a rural area where there are zero sirens for fires. If there is a major fire at night while we are asleep the sound this app makes is so low in volume and tone that it won’t wake up anyone. Please update the app so users can adjust the sound/tone and volume of the alerts. As a user I want this ability so it will wake up the family in an emergency. This simple change will save lives in my community and many others.

I live in LA and was terrified as the fires rampaged through our city. This app kept me informed and ready, allowing me to stay calm and think clearly while evacuating.

Great app and great service for the people. Often the first alert for wildfire. Thank you to the volunteers!
