See your route on a map, or try our route optimizer to automatically rearrange and plan your route to save travel time. See estimated times & distance traveled between places to make sure it all fits, and total time and distance traveled for a given day to make sure you’re not driving too long. Plus, you can add unlimited stops along your road trip for free. COLLABORATE WITH FRIENDS For group travel planning, add your tripmates with their email address or by sharing a link to the itinerary. Like for Google Docs, everyone can collaborate in real-time. Set permissions and choose whether people can edit or just view your travel plans. STAY ORGANIZED Access flights, hotels, and attractions in one app. Forward flight and hotel confirmation emails to import them directly into your trip plan, or connect your Gmail to automatically add them. Prefer to keep high-level plans? Make generic lists like ‘Things to do’ and ‘Restaurants’ you want to eat at. Traveling on a tight schedule and want to create a detailed itinerary? Organize your day by adding start (and end) times, perfect for keeping track of tickets and reservations. GET INSPIRATION & INFORMATION For each place, see key info like a description and picture of the place, average user ratings with links to reviews, opening hours, address, website, and phone number. Stay inspired by exploring top travel guides from the web that feature viewpoints, attractions, and restaurants, and from lists from Google Trips and Google Travel, as well as by other Wanderlog users, and add things to do from those guides to your trip plan with 1 click. CONTROL YOUR SPENDING Set a budget for yourself or a group. Take control of your spending and keep track of all expenses. For a group trip, split a bill with other people and easily calculate the cost. Keep a record of who paid for what, how much everyone owes or is owed, and settle debts between tripmates.

One thing about me…….I hate downloading new apps. Yes, even in 2024 I’m skeptical of new digital tools, cautious about phone bloat, and especially as a type-A travel spreadsheet planner I wasn’t sure what Wanderlog could do for me. But ah, I’m so happy to be proven wrong. I used Wanderlog for the first time on a recent trip and was thrilled by its functionality, design and how it anticipated my needs. I was happily surprised it works on desktop too, which is where the bulk of my pre-planning happens. The app was far superior than any of my spreadsheets when it comes to on-the-go referencing, mapping, and rearranging of itinerary. I used the free version and it met all my needs! If I hadn’t gotten an eSIM perhaps I would’ve considered upgrading for the offline version, but it wasn’t necessary this time. I loved the budget section and used it multiple times a day to track purchases. A few small suggestions: I’d love if I could “star” currencies. I toggled between 2 during my trip depending on how I paid, and each time I had to scroll through the whole list— would be cool if it was 1 step less. I also wish there was a default option to tag every entry with the date I submitted it— I tracked expenses as I went, so the day was always accurate. But it was too many steps when I was on the go, to manually enter the date. Bc of this, I couldn’t use the bar graph option that breaks down costs per day. Anyway can’t wait to use this again for my next trip!

This app is so convenient. I use to use spreadsheets to organize travel for our channel, TV Travels on YouTube. Not only does this app organize everything for you, but it also recommends places to visit, eat, drink, stay, you name it! Plus, I can upload all of my itinerary in one place and their maps are so helpful. Worth every penny and some!

I appreciate what they’re doing and it’s so close to being great. But it really does not work well with travel that is not “traditional” with hotel/motel/inn stays. Struggles to add Airbnb, VRBO, or other places that don’t have a “key” word in the name. The email sync also does not really find reservations intuitively. Again the email title has to have those key words in the title for it to get found and be allowed to link to a trip. I’m ending up doing a lot of manual entry of copying & pasting and writing from scratch instead of linking emails. It also does not recognize a “cruise” as a trip or any kind of travel-related event. Same with dinner reservations for a city I’ve created a trip for. Again it would be a lot easier if it could load the cruise itinerary automatically but the app’s idea of travel is limited to “hotels”, “car rental”, “flight”….I want to like this app but it is less helpful than it could be.

I never write reviews but this is the best app! Easy to understand and customize. My favorite part is the ability to easily delete items, create list categories, day plans, timing plans, but most importantly being able to visually see the map!!!

Was able to add a lot of recommendations I found online and plan my days/route from there. App even pointed out things I couldn’t do because of the day the business is closed. You can add all your booking info and hop right to the websites for businesses. Great travel tool!

We have been using Wanderlog for about 3 years now. It is SO helpful for planning trips in advance with multiple people, and for tracking activities on the go.

Easy to use which is saying a lot for this 63 yr old! I love how the map feature works. While planning I could see that I was going to be driving across town a lot so by moving things around I saved a lot of time and money on cabs and Uber. Easy to find restaurants and places of interest near your destination with the map features. Takes you directly to see google and Yelp reviews. You can share it easily with trip mates. I did want to add it to my calendar but now that o actually uses it on a trip to London and Paris I don’t really think I would have had the same viewing capability had it been on my calendar.
