    This game is not bad, but I feel I must leave a 1 star review, given what’s happened recently. The changes to the avatar are hideous and serve NO real purpose. They characters now all look like butter faced monsters.

    The avatar update looks awful. My character used to look so cool but now every time I start the game up, I immediately close it after looking at my avatar. If there were more options for the faces that’d be fine. But all the current face options for guys (which there are only two) look weird. It’s gone from cartoon animation to an uncanny valley. Please fix the issue, or revert it back completely. Just adding my thoughts to the many, many other people who feel the same.

    These goons can't even figure out how to make matchmaking in a PvP, everyone point and laugh at Niantic for being held together with duck tape and glue 🫵😂

    If you’re not vested in the game, get out quick or don’t download…the better option. You have a company that is consistently at odds with the people who play the actual game. They just DONT LISTEN!!! They made all of us look like we’ve don’t have a gender anymore (I use a mask and full face hat to cover my disgust in my F’d up avatar). PvP is a joke. I have stacked powered up team and still get about a 50% or less win ratio because of the stupid algorithm. Doesn’t matter if I swap out my team, when you get to a certain level, they will give you hard counters. Lately, I’m averaging 1 or 2 wins per set! Frickin terrible algorithm…and YES, there’s a F’d up ALGORITHM!!!

    Lately the game has become agenda driven rather than improve its game by making it fun. Pokémon and events are now behind a paywall. There’s a paid ticket for everything and prices have increased.

    Hi Niantic, yes why is it that it takes 4 whole years to fix the raid problem? Me and a friend did a remote raid; we beat it….the problem is that it glitched to the main screen and wouldnt let us catch the Pokemon. For the…. idk a 1000 times….people have mentioned this problem and it has not been fixed please fix this issue its causing us to want to uninstall and never play again only because of this issue….

    Items for your avatars that you purchased may be taken away at the developers discretion. Without you being reimbursed for the REAL WORLD CURRENCY you used. Sad but true. Maybe just play the game and do NOT ENGAGE IN GAME purchases & you’ll be fine.

  • Bad practices, bad business

    Repeatedly making choices against the communities wishes. Rehashing old events. Connectivity issues on their end always kick me out of raids, login screen takes 3 times as much time to login, they recently changed the avatar which made all of my PRIOR purchases for the old avatar obsolete and they will not refund the money i spent for it. This business is in it for themselves and could care less about the player base. Do yourself a favor and stay away from anything niantic makes.
