Some communities require karma to post or comment, which helps prevent spam or low-quality content. Currently writing this before rebooting my phone because the Reddit app is continuously playing audio on my device even while closed. I know it is the Reddit app because Dynamic Island keeps reopening Reddit when I click on it. Everything about this app is going downhill fast. I have to restart it anytime I click on a NSFW profile as it freezes up.

Whenever I speak badly of men, I am prohibited from commenting on the app without warning or reason. I put the term “man child” in a post describing someone else bf who is in his 30’s & would rather play video games on his headset than talk to his gf on the phone & that got taken down. I then revised it to “childish” & that was taken down by mods as well. So I called out the mods that kept taking down my post bc someone called me an as*hole in the comments before & that was totally fine but I couldn’t say the man was a man child bc that’s the mods of the app. After that everytime I tried to comment for u don’t remember how long the app wouldn’t allow me to. People stick up for sex offenders & men who physically assault women on there & down vote me for unflattering comments towards those groups & I again am not swearing. The mods made me unable to comment again last night after I said that men that hit women are cowards. I was also downvoted & 1 person commented implying that I was wrong. The app is full of nothing but haters specifically men who hate women & other very negative people. If that’s your thing get this horrible depressing app

After the most recent update I can’t scroll a profiles posts from from pic to pic or vid ti vid. I can scroll through a subreddits posts without having to watch a vid, back out, scroll down, go to the next item, click the video or pic and do that OVER AND OVER and over!! This is annoying. Fix this.

Every update it gets slower, it’s frustrating waiting for a gif to load when YouTube loads automatically. Have been deleting for a while now but I can’t take the awful load times now - will be deleting permanently :/

Well I’ve done a review and edited it just this week so I know it was there, now it doesn’t register anymore? Suspicious… Does anyone making changes actually use Reddit? Each update makes it harder to use. The permanent banner at the top really messes with me. I am dyslexic, and would use the blank black banner to block text as I went to read more easily. Now that’s impossible. Do we really need to have a bright orange way too big Reddit logo always showing? Do you think people have forgotten what app they were using? I hate that touching the top of the screen brings you to the top of the page. It’s never been useful to me. The old refresh was just fine. Now it’s just frustrating trying to find your place again. And the history doesn’t seem to work right anymore making finding posts even harder. And the reason I was coming back to edit today? Why in the world, would you make opening a post go directly to comments without seeing the post? That’s just silly. You could go back to a version from a year or two ago and your app would be 5 stars. Currently, I wish I could give it negative. Please don’t make this another app I delete out of frustration or just uselessness. Reddit was great. Whoever has been in charge the last couple years has ruined it.
