Inflation slowed to 1.7% in July, but food prices rose at faster pace

The yearly complaint of ostentation cooled to 1.7 per cent successful July, according to Statistics Canada, down from 1.9 per cent successful June. Lower gasoline prices fuelled the decline, but the bureau says Canadians were facing higher costs astatine the market store past month.
